  Real collaboration produces Authentic World®
19/02/2004

February 19th 2004 saw the launch of “Achieving The Potential Through Research And Development.” – the 6th briefing paper in the ‘Realising the Potential’ series published by the Welsh Assembly Government. This document focuses on the important contribution of nurses, midwives and health visitors in helping drive forward the research and development agenda in Wales. Jane Hutt, Minister for Health and Social Services, officially launched the paper which has the full endorsement of Rosemary Kennedy, Chief Nursing Officer for Wales.
.
Poster presentations had been invited and carefully selected to demonstrate a wide range of research and development activities taking place across Wales. Much interest was shown in the work of the Authentic World® development team who had the opportunity to briefly discuss their work with the Minister..
.
Following significant national and international interest in this unique software application, the two universities are proposing to form a spin-out company to market their products and related added value services.
