Access to all our software is via our secure website portal providing up to 256 bit encryption thereby offering the highest level of security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and our site are private and secure.
Our website is available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year from anywhere in the world providing you have access to the internet via a network or reliable broadband connection.
General Product Questions
General questions about our Product Suite - SafeMedicate
1. Do I have to purchase the whole suite of programs?
No, you can decide which programs you wish to purchase. However, Authentic Assessment and IMT assessment are only available to institutions such as NHS Trusts and Universities.
3. How much does it cost?
For an institution the price will depend on the number of accounts wanted and the particular package you require. Contact us to discuss your particular needs. If you are looking to purchase an account for personal use then the learning zone and practice zone together will cost £35.25. This will give you unlimited access for 1 year. Injectable Medicines Therapy will cost £47.00.
4. As a personal user, how will I get help and support?
The program contains embedded support features throughout and a very comprehensive user guide. You can also retrieve your user details at anytime via automated e-mail after you register. If problems remain unresolved you can us on 02920 762936 during weekdays and normal office hours.
5. Do I need training to use the program?
Users do not normally need training as the program takes you through all you will need to know to get the most out of the learning and practice experience. Institutions will need training in the administrative features of the program including the monitoring of user performance. This takes 1 full day and is sufficiently detailed to allow cascade training by the participants following some practice.
6. How much does the training cost?
Currently £1200 plus VAT. For this we can train up to 15 staff and provide you with on-going technical support for as long as you use the program.
7. Who should be trained?
Staff who will be responsible for the overall administration of the program, supporting students an setting assessments. I.T. staff may also want to sit in as well as non-academic staff that may be involved in ordering, distributing and moving accounts.

Questions regarding Medication Dosage Calculation Skills (MDCS), Authentic Diagnostic Assessment (ADA) or Authentic Assessment (AA).
1. Is this a hosted software solution?
Yes, our software applications are hosted on our servers and customers simply connect via the internet. This removes the necessity for you to install and maintain the software locally.
2. What are the technical requirements for using this software?
Our applications are built in Flash®. You will need version 7 or above of the Flash Player installed on your PC plus an internet browser such as Internet Explorer. If connecting from a home PC, we recommend a broadband connection for best performance.
3. Can the software be run within a learning management system such as Blackboard?
Yes, when creating a new resource or course material item, you simply add the web address (URL) to our server as an external link.
4. Does the software record my progress details?
Yes, we maintain a user record for you that details your progress within the application and your performance within the assessments.
5. How often can I take the Practical Assessments?
You can undertake Practice Assessments as many times as you need to. You will get a new question set each time you take an assessment drawn randomly from our extensive medication problem database.
6. Will all students and practitioners sit the same final assessments?
No, question sets will be drawn randomly from our database for each user – no two users will undertake the exact same assessment. However, the range and complexity of the questions will be the same for each user so there is parity across the whole group.
